           Coming up real soon is the new America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12. This new season will have some fierce competition including one girl titled Jessica who is an 18 year old from Puerto Rico who just has that very exotic and wow bourgeois going on. The show will begin on March 4, 2009 hosted by the one and only Tyra banks. 12 other contestants will also be on the show most of them being 18 years old well 5 out of the 13 girls are 18 years old.

          Reason why I feel Jessica will do great on America’s next Model is she has Dark luscious hair, huge full Angelina Jolie lips, great Olive complexion, and piercing Dark eyes that catch your attention and will work wonders on the camera. I never really gave this show much thought before, but being in the beauty industry and loving fashion I find this show quite intriguing. I love the fact America’s Next Top Model include plus-sized women as well. This way it proves to USA you don’t have to be skinny Minnie to be a model its anybodies chance now.

         Looking at all of girls in cycle 12 some of them just don’t stand out at all like Kortnie, Allison, or Aminat. These 3 girls have a very plain and frumpty looks about them from what I have seen. So I will predict the first one to leave America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12 will be Kortnie. The one I predict to be in the top will be Jessica based on her looks, and her fashion.

        Sandra who is 19 year old from Rockville, MD- This girl has a very classy yet hip look to her

        Jessica who is 18 year old from Puerto Rico- This girl has a very exotic and cool look to her. She is the one to look out for

        Aminat is a 21 year old from my hometown New Jersey. Aminat has great posture and a distinctive look about her. This one might be the Dark horse of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12 competition.

        London is a 18 year old from Arlington, TX- London has some really awesome facial expressions and a great utter line

       Celia who is 25 years old is from Kentucky. This girl looks real mean but has a beautiful skin complexion that might help her in this competition.

Quick decisions are also hard to come by when major choices must be place to a vote so it’s vital that co-operatives ensure this process is as efficient as possible. And as profits are shared between members on an equitable basis , individual dividends are sometimes small, especially in the primeval years.
 
You’ll find that co-operatives are driven by strong ethical or political values, and some are confused or place off from forming co-operatives because of the complexity.

“George Orwell” was the pen study used by English writer Eric Arthur Blair.  Even though Orwell is probably most familiar to American readers as the author of Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm, he was a prolific writer of other fiction and non-fiction books, essays, literary reviews and poetry.  He was also an avid political and “attack” journalist.

Like many of his contemporaries, Orwell was a political thinker and activist in “democratic socialist” causes.  He realized that writing and speech-making required the use of simple, precise language to impart ideas that prefabricated a lasting impact on readers and audiences.

In his 1946 essay Politics and the English Language, Orwell proposed that civilization was decadent and the English language was decaying for political and economic causes.  According to Orwell: “Modern English, especially written English, is full of bad habits which spread by imitation and which can be avoided if one is willing to take the necessary trouble.”  To help himself and others get free of some of these “bad habits”, Orwell established the following five rules for writing.

1.  “Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print.”  There are tricks to accomplish this but the main thing is just to be aware to refrain being trite.  Reusing worn-out, dead metaphors and similes swiftly tells the reader that you’re really not interested in what you’re writing.

2.  “Never use a long word where a short one will do.”  Don’t overwrite to tell the reader how smart you are.

3.  “If it is doable to cut a word out, always cut it out.”  Be brief and write powerfully.  In the same 1946 essay, Orwell wrote: “What is above all needed is to let the meaning select the word, and not the other way around. In prose, the worst thing one can do with words is surrender to them.”

4.  “Never use the passive where you can use the active.”  Sentences written in the active voice are more powerful and direct than those using the passive voice.  In the active voice, the subject performs the action expressed in the verb.  “The wolf killed the sheep” is active; “the sheep were killed by the wolf” is passive.

5.  “Never use a foreign phrase, a scientific word, or a argot word if you can think of an each day English equivalent.”  Except for useful abbreviations (i.e., e.g., & etc.), the use of Latin, Greek or other foreign words are often attempts by bad writers to dress up their prose with language presumed ‘grander’ than Saxon words.

We have all been there.  And the more you travel, the early is the likelihood that you have been there.  After having prefabricated an extensive number of road trips, I have concluded that the size, quality, and décor of motel rooms vary considerably, placing them in several categories from low to high.  The one in which I recently stayed during a summer, cross-country trip, however, deserves a category not year created.  Therefore, I will create it now.  It is called “model motel.”

How modern had the room’s bed, dresser, and desk been?  Let’s place it this way: I had visited many, 200-year-old buildings in the country which had proudly boasted that “Washington slept here.”  This one should have read, “Washington died here.”

I guess this furniture’s exposed nails could have been considered “decorations,” belonging to a unique, Early American (referred to the age of those who had built it) style tagged “failing grade workshop projects.”

There was, however, a generous “walk-through” closet–three hangers of adequate rust to recommend the dawn of the Iron Age supporting from the ceiling and giving the eye something to do apiece time it was poked by them during the journey over the cardboard carpet from the bed to the bathroom–not to mention the “reward” extended to the fruit by their unceasing chimes of “jingle hells” until they finally stopped clinking against apiece other–by the following Christmas!  I pitied the mortal who suffered diarrhea and therefore had to make the trip apiece two minutes throughout the night!

A plaque prominently hung in the room had the audacity to promise, “If anything is not functioning properly, call us and we will immediately repair it.”  My room’s previous guest had apparently taken them up on this offer and reported a hole in the ceiling.  The motel’s owner, still sipping his evening coffee in one of those styrofoam cups, entered the room.  After assessing its relative size, he promptly gulped down the remaining hot liquid and shoved the cup up in the hole, asking, “Is there anything else?”  I can only envision the expression on that guest’s face!

Considerable travel experience has indicated that many motel bathrooms are very small—so much so, in fact, that there is seldom adequate space below the sink for an enclosed cabinet.  My room in the Mustang Motel, however, had one.  But there had been so little space between it and the toilet that two holes into which one could plunge his knees had been provided when he had been in the sitting position, resulting in a condition which could be more accurately described as “wearing a bathroom” as opposed to “sitting in a bathroom.”  At least the plugged-up holes, visible from the bedroom side, provided a handy clue as to whether the bathroom was currently occupied!

The room’s door lock, apparently immune to the universal cup remedy, had not been operative, but I swiftly dismissed the anomaly.  After all, this was the type of place people brokeout of, not into, I thought.

It had been so stifling hot during my stay that I could not sleep without the air conditioning, but I also could not sleep with it, since it emitted a blast not unlike the roar of a jet engine during take off.  The sound, however, seemed somewhat appropriate to the rest of the experience, since the bed had been at such an angle that I fully felt as if I had been making a steep approach for a landing to some unknown runway throughout the night.

By the following morning, I had apparently reached my “destination,” since my butt had been gravity-induced toward the foot of the bed, leaving my legs supporting in the air like the tentacles of an octopus.

Eager to greet the light of day and the fresh, morning air, I opened the door to my unit, but the guest in the next room had apparently backed his horse trailer into the parking spot fronting my door sometime throughout the night and left a tail-swinging horse (the Mustang Motel’s namesake?) to greet the begin of my day.  However, the bulls eye butt view provided more than just a view—or blockaded one—and an air-fanning swing.  Instead, it proceeded to dilate the tunnel-like entrance of its derrière and released a fart whose proportions only an animal of this size could have created, the gaseous collection torpedoing into my room and creating a nuclear waste-reeking fog which rose to the ceiling and loosened the styrofoam cup.  It fell to the floor, but at least it provided a hole through which the stench could now escape, intermixing with the air’s low-level pollution.

I remembered, with fondness, the days when those petite, pretty maids went from room to room in the morning to clean them and prepare them for the next guests.  But not here!  Instead, the handy repairman owner, wearing his “official” undershirt uniform and still belching his midnight beer, also served in that function, stripping the inclined beds of their sheets and stuffing them in to the back of his station wagon, where I caught a momentary glimpse of at least a month’s supply of styrofoam cups.  I could only envision what else he did with them!

Driving away from this “model motel” later that morning, I could not help but vomit through the open automobile window just thinking of my nocturnal nightmare.  But, I had thought, at least I had remained true to the little town’s name.
