Back when I was still a high school student, it was not considered cool to be wearing retro clothes. As I entered college, I had a few clothes that I purchased at some local thrift shops for only a few bucks. These now became so favourite and even quite expensive. I had experienced some teasing over my wardrobe many times, and when I reached college, I was pleasantly shocked and suprised at how much retro clothes seemed to be gaining popularity as if over night. At first, I loved at how retro clothes were suddenly in wide acceptance and I wasn’t annoyed at all. And then, suddenly, retro clothes just became very costly and this time, I started to get irritated.

In many of my high school years, I did a lot of my shopping at second hand stores and thrift shops. Through this, I can manage to spend only a very few dollars and end up with a really nice entire outfit. And the this culture shift began to happen and all of a sudden, retro clothes were oonce again trendy. I was no longer healthy to afford buying them. For me, this whole new mind set came against everything which retro clothes

stood for and what wearing them meant to me.

But then again, it seems that fashion gets recycled one too many times and before long, it gets regurgitated again and again.
